Shipping Information
UPDATED 3/06 -- We use UPS Ground. Below is
our shipping charge table, based on order total:
$0 - $35 / $9.50
$35.01 - $65 / $12
$65.01 - $95 / $17
$95.01 - $125 / $23
$125.01 - $155 / $28
$155.01 - $175 / $32
$175.01 - $200 / $36
RETAIL ORDERS over $200.01 ship FREE! (sorry, this applies only to Stateside
orders)
(Does also not apply to wholesale orders. We will calculate shipping on
wholesale orders based on distance, # of boxes, and weight).
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada will cost more. Your shipping total
will be calculated when you place your order. All pottery is very well
packed, and insured.
We will also ship to a APO, FPO boxes. The same shipping charge guidelines
stated above apply, however, we will also add a $7.50 fee to cover extra
handling - AND, depending on the actual shipping cost, we reserve the right to
increase the shipping cost accordingly.
After payment is received, your order will be mailed within 5 working days (in
most cases).
** If your pottery arrives broken:
1. Call 804.733.4495 within 7 days of order receipt to notify The Polish
Pottery Shop of the breakage. You may also email us at
teresa@polishpotteryshop.com .
Please keep the box, packing material, broken item until we get a thumbs up from
UPS regarding the claim payment. When you call or email us, we will
need the tracking # off the box, and the item # and pattern of broken piece.
2. We will file a claim with UPS. Your pottery will be replaced, if
possible. If it was a one-of-a-kind item, your purchase price will be
refunded, not including the original shipping cost.
NOTE we will not replace or refund money on broken items which are not reported
to us within the window of opportunity offered us by UPS.
** To return an item:
Your satisfaction is our primary concern. Most of our customers are
repeat buyers so we think we are pretty good at keeping you happy!
If you wish to return an item, contact us within 7 days of order receipt
(see contact info above). Let us know what you are returning. We'll give
you the address for returns at that time. Pack the pottery well, and send
it back. If it arrives in re-sellable condition, your purchase price will
be refunded (not including any shipping costs).
** NOTE that we can not replace or issue refunds for "used" pottery
that was damaged by improper handling.
